China AOPA, Nujiang Prefecture and XPENG Aeroht Explore New Low-Altitude Use Cases
On the morning of August 30, 2024, Jiang Mouyu, Executive Secretary-General of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of China (China AOPA) and Chairman of AOPA Fund, invited Yang Yongzhu, Executive Vice Governor of Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture, Xu Zongqi of the Strategic Emerging Industries Department of China Railway Signal & Communication Co., Ltd. (CRSC), and other guests to visit XPENG Aeroht. XPENG Aeroht representatives received the delegation and held discussions.
The group toured XPENG’s “Land Aircraft Carrier” flying car, learned about the company’s development journey and operating philosophy, and experienced a flight demonstration. After the tour, the parties exchanged views on their respective businesses and future cooperation, exploring prospects for applying XPENG Aeroht’s flying cars in Nujiang for low-altitude tourism, emergency rescue, and other scenarios—seeking new opportunities for high-quality growth of the prefecture’s low-altitude industry.
Other attendees included He Leiyu, Deputy Secretary-General of the Nujiang Prefecture Government; Yang Yang, Director of the Development and Reform Commission; Yang Jiwen, Deputy Director of the Transport Bureau and Director of the Local Civil Aviation Bureau; Duan Xiaojian, Chairman of the Culture and Tourism Group; Liu Yingjun, Deputy General Manager of CRSC Construction Group; and representatives of CRSC CASCO. Guo Yafei and Feng Panpan of AOPA Fund also participated.
