A Decade of Youthful Ambition — Eagle Plan 10th Anniversary Celebration Held

On May 7, 2023, a talent development report for Beijing No. 57 High School’s early pilot training experimental class—“A Decade of Youthful Ambition, Dreaming of the Blue Sky Again”—was held at the auditorium of the Informatization Department of the General Staff. Zhang Feng, Chairman of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of China (China AOPA), and Liu Xiaochang, Principal of No. 57 High School, presented awards to outstanding returning pilots. Guests included Xiong Yingbo of the General Aviation Flight Standards Division of the Flight Standards Department of CAAC, as well as representatives from the PLA Astronaut Corps, Air Force and Navy Pilot Recruitment Bureaus, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Haidian District Government and Education Commission, and China AOPA’s Eagle Plan team.
Since 2012, China AOPA has run the Eagle Plan for early pilot training in partnership with Beijing No. 57 High School. Over ten years, the program has built a complete curriculum and organizational model covering management, teaching systems, flight practice, and university recommendations. Hundreds of graduates have gone on to become professional airline pilots at carriers including Air China, Hainan Airlines, and Capital Airlines.
