“Enter the Wonderful World of Aviation” Youth Program Lands in Xinjiang
2023/05/01

After the first 20 partner organizations for the 2023 “Enter the Wonderful World of Aviation” youth aviation activity were confirmed, programs have rolled out across China with rich and engaging formats.
Recently, the 2023 activity—hosted by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of China and organized by Xinjiang Sanhe UAV Research Institute Co., Ltd.—was successfully held in Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang.
Combining traditional hands-on practice with virtual technology, the program sparked students’ interest in loving, learning, and applying science. Close-up access to drones helped children discover the charm of science and feel the progress of the times.
Youth aviation science mentors answered endless questions through UAV knowledge sessions, simulators, hands-on builds, outdoor flights, and flight demonstrations. Immersive space-capsule and helicopter simulators drew cheers as students felt the power of technology.
At the close, Wang Ming, Director of Xinjiang Sanhe UAV Research Institute and a council member of China AOPA’s Youth Aviation Education Branch, presented certificates to outstanding students.
