China AOPA Signs Strategic Talent Development Cooperation Agreement with Shanghai Civil Aviation College

Recently, to further deepen exchange and cooperation and advance civil aviation talent development, the China Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (hereinafter the "Association") and Shanghai Civil Aviation College signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. The signing ceremony was held at the college's Xuhui campus. Association Chairman Zhang Feng and College President Wang Lixin delivered remarks on behalf of both sides. Vice President Sun Xuan of the college chaired the ceremony. Yao Lijun, Secretary of the College Discipline Inspection Commission; Ren Zhihan of the Association's Shanghai Office; Guo Hongjun of the Low-Altitude Industry Research Department; Tan Yi of AOPA Capital; and relevant department heads of the college attended the ceremony.

President Wang Lixin welcomed the Association delegation and emphasized that the partnership is a valuable opportunity for the college's future development and an important vehicle for industry-academia-research collaboration and talent cultivation. He expressed the hope that both sides would leverage their respective strengths, share resources, and pursue common progress, so as to better connect the education chain and talent chain with the industry chain and innovation chain.
Chairman Zhang Feng introduced the Association's history and focus areas, and fully affirmed the college's long-standing contribution to cultivating high-quality, highly skilled civil aviation talent. He hoped the partnership would continuously consolidate and expand strategic outcomes, uphold mutual benefit, improve the quality and effectiveness of cooperation, and refine mechanisms for communication and coordination, research collaboration, and talent exchange, striving to set a model for Association–college strategic cooperation. He noted that talent is the foremost resource for civil aviation development, and looked forward to using this signing as a new starting point to deepen cooperation and jointly make greater contributions to industry progress.


Subsequently, Luo Yumei, Director of the College Academic Affairs Office, and Ren Zhihan, head of the Association's Shanghai Office, signed the cooperation framework agreement on behalf of both sides, witnessed by President Wang Lixin and Chairman Zhang Feng.

The signing of this cooperation framework agreement is based on the shared development vision and mutual-benefit principle of both sides, reached through friendly consultation and in-depth communication. It marks a new stage of cooperation in civil aviation talent development. The two sides will deepen collaboration in education, training, and talent cultivation, forming a virtuous cycle driven by demand, enabled by technology, combining research with application, and pursuing common development—laying a solid foundation for building China into a transportation power and a strong civil aviation nation, and jointly writing a new chapter for civil aviation in that endeavor.
After the ceremony, accompanied by college leaders, Chairman Zhang Feng and his delegation visited the Shanghai Training Base for the WorldSkills Competition Aircraft Maintenance project and other facilities at the college.
